What is the Sanatan Dharma?
The word "Sanatan" means Eternal and the term "Dharma" means Principle, making the Sanatan Dharma the eternal principles that govern life. There are certain principles in nature which are not physical, and they govern the life forces inside us. Sanatan Dharma identifies that a human being always strives for a limitless, boundless existence. The life is all about Moksha, liberation and lays down simple ideologies to help a seeker move in the direction of Moksha.
THE NECESSITY - W H A T I S T H E M O T I V A T I O N B E H I N D T H E V E D I C DHAM . . .
Necessity is the mother of all inventions and discoveries. To make the change survive the test of times, the components in it, need to be self-lubricating and self-sustaining. The VEDIC knowledge system provides us the inner knowledge of the subtle energies of mind, body, and soul that permeate the universe, and allows us to link up with these in our daily lives. Having understood its relevance in today's fast-paced world, as the need of the hour, Rajput Bakul, the visionary behind the germinating world of the Intercultural Foundation for Vedic Living, came up with the idea of exclusive Vedic Dham all around the country and abroad. The motivation behind the idea of Vedic Dham in and around the world can be summed up in three broad perspectives.
To provide exhaustive scientific rationale and reasons behind the ancient rituals and religious practices: It is imperative for a person to have his/her/their doubts and apprehensions taken care of if there has to be any chance for him/her/they to believe in any idea.
To bring the Sanghralaya (Dham) culture back into existence: In today's world, social dham have become exclusive status symbols. The mission of the Vedic Dham is to bring back the culture where people with similar ideologies, and beliefs can meet, socialise, and bring about changes in their way of living. The Dham shall be exhaustively inclusive of seekers from all strata of the society.
To impart knowledge and wisdom that shall shape the basic existence of a seeker: The Vedic Dham will have specifically designed residential programmes aimed at providing in-depth and exhaustive knowledge i.e fields ranging from Ayurveda to a plethora of para-sciences, like, reiki, colour therapy and so on so forth... The knowledge turns into wisdom when the seeker understands the implementation of it. Our courses shall be simple, yet effective in letting the attendee understand the life-long implementations of this knowledge.
